Mount Batok and in the background the edge of Tengger caldera. Caldera is formed by the collapse of land following a volcanic eruption. After the collapse of Tengger, 5 new volcanic cones emerged instead of it. Mount Batok is the only peak that is no longer active, and is covered in casuarina trees.
