Ähvardavad kaljud

Läbi Verdoni kanjoni (Prantsusmaa) sõit oli ääretult põnev. Tänu sadavale vihmale oli nähtavus nullilähedane, tee kurviline, tee peal kohati kaljude pealt langenud kivitükid ning tee kõrval sügav kuristik. Aga kui päike korraks pilve vahelt piilus, siis olid vaated väga võimsad.
A drive through the Verdon Gorge (France) was very thrilling. Õnnelind flamingo. Suurte soolaväljade kõrval asuv soolajärv oli nende seahäälsete ja õudsate nägudega lindude lemmikkoht. :) Muudkui õngitsesid vee alt koorikloomi.

Linnubanded

Kusagil Bretagne rannikul nägime rändel olevaid rannalinde - tülle, rislasid ja tildreid. Kuigi hommik oli hiline, enamus lindudest veel magas üsna magusalt.
Somewhere along the coast of Bretagne we saw migrating coastal birds - plovers, sandpipers and shanks. Despite the late morning, most birds were still asleep.
